Purpose of the service
Sucesio is a digital estate planning service that allows you to inventory, protect and prepare the transmission of your estate — physical, financial and digital assets — to your designated heirs, in accordance with a proof-of-life and human-validation protocol.
Sucesio is a complement to a will and to the intervention of a notary, never a substitute. You remain solely responsible for the drafting of your will and the legal organisation of your estate.
Price, trial period and subscription
Full access to the service requires a paid subscription. A free trial period is offered to each new user. No credit card is required to activate the trial period.
Subscription
The subscription price is «…» € per year (amount stated at sign-up and subject to change under the conditions of article 9 below). Payment is annual and secured via our provider Stripe.
Trial period
The trial period lasts «…» days. At the end of this period, the paid subscription is proposed. No charge is made without your explicit consent.
Sucesio's commitments
We commit to providing the service at a high level of quality and security:
- Target availability of 99.9% over the year, excluding scheduled maintenance announced at least 48 hours in advance.
- Entirely European hosting (Germany and France), with no estate data transferred outside the EU.
- AES-256-GCM encryption of all sensitive data before storage, and threshold cryptographic protocol for transmission triggering.
- Expert human validation of every transmission request and every death certificate, never delegated to artificial intelligence.
- GDPR compliance and immediate cooperation with data protection authorities (CNIL, AEPD).
Your commitments
By using Sucesio, you commit to:
- Provide accurate, sincere and up-to-date information, particularly regarding your identity, your heirs and your trusted contact.
- Use the service for lawful and personal purposes, respecting the rights of third parties and especially those of your loved ones.
- Protect your login credentials (password, 2FA codes, recovery codes) and immediately report any suspicious unauthorised access to support@sucesio.io.
Proof-of-life and transmission protocol
The triggering of the transmission of your data to your heirs is conditional on a strict protocol:
- Periodic «proof-of-life» checks sent by email and, where applicable, by SMS, at the frequency you have chosen.
- Escalation to the trusted contact you have designated in the event of a prolonged absence of response.
- Manual validation of an official death certificate by an authorised human Sucesio operator, 7-day grace period and final notification to designated heirs.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided «as is». Sucesio commits to implementing all reasonable means to ensure its proper operation, but cannot be held liable for indirect damages, loss of opportunity or consequences of inaccurate information you have provided.
Our overall liability, in the event of proven fault on our part, is capped at the amount of subscriptions paid during the twelve months preceding the triggering event.
Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your personal area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period — no fraction of the year is refunded, except in the event of proven fault by Sucesio.
Sucesio reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in the event of serious breach of these terms, after written notification and a reasonable period for compliance (except in cases of proven urgency affecting service security).
Personal data protection
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms. We invite you to consult it.
Changes to terms and price
Sucesio reserves the right to amend these terms and the subscription price. Any substantial change will be notified to you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. You may cancel your subscription free of charge if you refuse the new terms.
Applicable law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and prior to any legal action, we commit to seeking an amicable solution. you may contact our legal team at legal@sucesio.io or our DPO at dpo@sucesio.io.
Failing an amicable agreement, the competent courts shall be those of the registered office of Sucesio SA, subject to any mandatory provision to the contrary of your national law as a consumer.
